It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Stillwell Cagle of Pikeville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Leonard Cagle; her great grandchild Katlyn Cagle; her parents, Henry Stillwell and Bertha Rankin; and her brothers, Newell Stillwell, Harry Lee Rankin and J. W. Rankin.
She is survived by: her children, Brince Cagle (Phyllis) of Pikeville, Edward L. Cagle (Loretta) of Crossville, Phillip "Winky" Cagle (Sheila) of Pikeville and Vivian Buford (Bill) of Tazwell, TN; and her siblings, Joe Stillwell of McMinnville, TN, Rachel Rankin of Pikeville, TN, James Charles Rankin of Johnson City, TN, Loretta Myers (Wendell) of Pikeville, TN, Tommy Rankin (Jean) of Pikeville, TN and Wanda Miller of McMinnville, TN. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren.
