It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Louise Smith of Pikeville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Allan "Corkey" Smith; her parents, Thomas Franklin and Winnie Emma Simmons Hale, Sr.; her brothers, William Hale and Thomas Hale, Jr.; her son-in-law Clifford "Jug" Lewis; her siblings-in-law, Donald Smith, Raymond Smith, Frances Hale, Eva Smith, Betty Smith and Laura Fay Taylor; and her nephew Terry Smith.
She is survived by : her daughter Virginia Lewis; her grandson Allan Lewis; and her great grandchild Layla Lewis. She is also survived by nephews; cousins; and a host of friends.
