It is with sadness that the passing of Jonathan Eric Hale of Pikeville, Tennessee is shared. Jonathan, born on January 1, 1967, passed away on June 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Aileen Smith Hale; his grandparents, Litton, Duel Hankins Smith, Sam and Ruby Griffith Hale; and his pet Charlie.

He is survived by: his wife Michelle Lively Hale; his children, Kelby Burgess (Josh) and Eric Hale (Desiree); his grandchildren, Hylie, Barrett, Luke Burgess and Macelynn Hale; his siblings, Barbara Ellison (Robbie) and Donathan Hale (Michelle); his uncle Lewis Hale (Kathy); his aunts, Dorthea Burgess and Ina Pearl Smith (Imogene Smith); and his pets, Luna, Biggin and Nuggett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of special cousins most like brothers and sisters; and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pikeville Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
