She was predeceased by : her husband James Levon Brown; her daughter Mechelle Brown; her parents, Ed Kerley and Eliza Kerley; and her siblings, Randall, Tommy, Bob Kerley and Eliza Ada Kerley.

She is survived by : her daughters, Donna Brown Alberson of Crossville, TN and Hope Brown of Dunlap, TN; her grandchildren, Mark, David Alberson, Sydney, Nick Howser, Carson Reed and Tiffany Layne; and her siblings, Mary Ruth Milliron (Charles) of Dayton, TN and Walter Kerley (Pam) of Dayton, TN. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
