He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Simon Evans and Julia Beach Evans Griffith; his siblings, Jewell Corvin, Elsie Roberson, Virginia Fine, Avalee, Nonavee Evans, Gene Evans and Eddie Evans; his grandsons, Robert Wesley Evans and Kyler Braden Evans; and his great grandchild William Ford Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Frazier Evans; his sons, Marc Evans (Vina) of Murfreesboro, TN and Brad Evans (Mary Ann) of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Johnson (Paul), Julia Grace Tenpenny (Chase), Olivia Anne Brent (Tyler), Marc Samuel Evans (Ellee), Karsten Bradley Evans (Maggie), Kylie Hope Evans, Braden Matthew Evans, William Cecil McLeod and John Hal Edward McLeod; and his great grandchildren, John Marc Brent, Wesley Fenton Johnson, Vina Anne Brent, Lincoln Ray Tenpenny, Walker Frazier Johnson, Elizabeth Ann Evans, Warren Fletcher Johnson, Lydia Grace Johnson, Samuel Frazier Evans and Charlotte Joanna Johnson.
