He was predeceased by : his mother Jo Anna Kleist Cross; and his grandparents, Joseph Arthur, Aeril Virginia Nordenskjold Kleist, Jack and Hope Cross.

He is survived by : his son Scott Lee Cross; his father Jerry Lee Cross; and his siblings, Patrick (Carol) and Laurie Cross. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
