With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Tom Hatfield of Pikeville, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his former wife Judy Thomas Hatfield; his wife Caroline McKechnie Hatfield; his siblings, Buster Hatfield and Phyllis Moffitt; and his parents, Frank Hatfield and Mable Cunningham Hatfield.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Hatfield of Acworth, Georgia, Rhonda Cagle (Chris) of Pikeville and Farrah Fields (Matt) of Pikeville; his stepchildren, Jeff McBrayer (Celine) of Whitfield, Georgia and Cindy Heistand (Bob) of Tunnel Hill, Georgia; his grandchildren, Thomas Cagle (Melynie), Brad Cagle (Aubrey), Austin Hatfield, Kayla Parsons (Andrew) and Addie Fields; his stepgrandchildren, Will Heistand and Rylee McBrayer; his great grandchildren, Rylan, Evan, Wyatt, Chloe, Greyson, Jackson Cagle and Kamden Parsons; his sister Shelby Ledford of Pikeville, Tennessee; and his sister-in-law Beverly Bacarro (Paul) of Wimauma, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Putnam Reed Funeral Home (1171 Main St, Pikeville, TN 37367). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
