We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Donald McCarty of Piney Flats, Tennessee, born in Johnson City, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Rufus McCarty and Christina Haun McCarty; and his brother-in-law Robert McElyea. He is survived by : his wife Merlita McCarty; his sisters, Nancy McCarty and Kathy McElyea; his daughter Danelle Trahan (Fabian); his granddaughters, Cortney Renova (Humberto) and Chelsea Poling (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Miguel, Miya, Kyler, Madilyn and Emma; and also Brian.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Southside Baptist Church, 1928 Wheeler Street, Johnson City Tn 37604.
