She was predeceased by: her father Rex A. Simerly. She is survived by: her mother Betty Nidiffer Simerly of Elizabethton; her aunt Kathryn I. Norris of Jonesborough; and her uncles, Max Simerly (Teresa) of Unicoi and Steve Simerly (Crystal) of Elizabethton.
