She was predeceased by : her father John Martin Snapp; her husband Samuel Cross; and her siblings, Nell Weaver, Ruth McClellan and Paul Snapp.

She is survived by : her children, Jerry Cross and Darlene Barnette; her grandchildren, Steve Cross and Heather Vines; and her great grandchild Emelia Vines.

The family has asked that those that prefer donations in lieu of flowers may make donations to Edgefield United Methodist Church.
