He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Carl Scott, Sr. and Irene Florence Feathers Scott; wife: Helen Marie Gray Scott; children: Shawn Scott, Jeffery Scott, and Angie Amburgery (Jimmy); siblings: Frank Scott, Carl Scott, Jr., Herman Scott, Bobby Joe Scott, Jerry Lee Scott, Jenie Scott, Jackson Scott (Melissa), Gene Scott (Mary), Ray Scott (Pricilla), Patsy Bupp, and Brenda Scott; grandchildren: Tyler Scott (Hannah), Brittany Scott James (Jordan), Savannah Scott, Hunter Scott (Morgan), Gunner Carmack, Jared Scott, Alexis Hale (Anthony), Ethan Scott, Samara Scott, Declan Scott, and Briar Scott; great-grandchildren: Lincoln, Laurel, Klover, Aiden, McKenna, Grayson, and Walton; other: Dr. Paul Humphrey, Doug Porteous, and Gail Plum; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Piney Flats United Methodist Church (225 Methodist Church St, Piney Flats, TN 37686).
