He was predeceased by: his parents, Parris Hardee and Mary Rebecca Julian Hardee; his siblings, Phillip Hardee and Anna Huckaba; and his grandson C. J. Byrum.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Hardee; his children, Loretta Hardee, Archie Hardee, Jr. and Michael Hardee (Colleen); and his siblings, Charles Hardee, Ray Hardee, David Hardee and Shirley Jones. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to the Gidean Ministry.
