He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Schmidt and Freida Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Schmidt; his sister Sally Kaydo; his children, Christina Schmidt, Michael Schmidt, Mechele Clough (Nick Clough), Erika Puzanov (Igor Puzanov), Cobey Schmidt and Jesse Katz (Regina Katz); his stepdaughter Jessica McCabe (Cody McCabe); his grandchildren, Alyssa, June, Brianna, Stephen, Elend, Grey, Enzo, Fox, Jacob and Joseph; and his pet Scrunch.
