It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glennis Ray Simpson of Pioneer, Tennessee, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Agnes Simpson; his parents, Azra Simpson and Estelle Simpson; his stepmother Ella Mae Simpson; his grandparents, Richard, Rachel Neal Simpson, Cal and Rosetta Beard Adkins; and his niece Barbara Housley Kidd (Debbie Housley Hensley).
He is survived by: his children, Scott, Courtney Simpson, Chris and Stacy Simpson; his grandchildren, Taylor Simpson Burnett, Jordan Simpson, Mia Simpson, Chase Simpson and Bryson Simpson; his great grandchildren, Paityn Massey and McKinley Burnett; his sisters, Christine Simpson Housley and Nila Fay Simpson; his great-niece Natalie Browning Connor; his great-nephew Andy Browning; and his cousin James Irving Simpson. He is also survived by many cousins, and multiple great-nieces and nephews.
