He is survived by: his children, Lee Boyte (Susan), Kerry Boyte (Kelley) and Lisa Forsythe (Tim); his brother Tommy R. Boyte (Sheran); and his grandchildren, Erica Lane (Nathan), Blake Bradley (Amanda), Magen Adkison (Ben), Ashley Karch, Kelsey Johnson (Dustin), Amanda Noble, Carlee Boyte, Brandon Boyte, Faith Boyte, Trey Boyte, Logan Harris (Kaley), Jessica Harris-Mueller (Alex), Jonathan Woodall (Danielle) and Trey Woodall (Macayla). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church in Ashland City, Tennessee.
