We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2021, at the age of 80, Jimmy Murphey of Pleasant View, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dewall P. Sr. Murphey and Mary Morgan Murphey; his grandson P. J. Murphey; his son-in-law Joe Shelton, Jr.; and his siblings, Junior Murphey, Dimple Price and Anne Head.

He is survived by : his wife Faye B. Murphey; his children, Phillip Murphey (Lori), Preston Murphey, Kathy Perry, Kaye Murphey and Kim Shelton; and his grandchildren, Josh Pulley (Kristin), Brooke Pulley, Brandi Mackey, Brittani Mackey, Amanda Myatt, Cameron Myatt, Zachary Shelton (Christina), Morgan Shelton, Jacob Shelton and Nikki Darnall (Will). He is also survived by twenty-six great-grandchildren.

If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
