She was predeceased by: her significant other Charles Branton "Charlie" Binkley; her parents, Burton Barnes and Mary Juanita Barnes (Betts); her son Lyndel Branton Binkley; her brother Alan Levi Barnes; her siblings-in-law, Fay Paty, Jimmy Paty, Wayne Binkley, Jeanne Binkley and Gordon Binkley; her nephew Troy Binkley; and her niece Suzanne Barnes.

She is survived by: her daughter Maria Latham (Kevin); her grandchildren, Joshua and Ellie Latham; and her pet Bouncy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home (6316 Hwy 41 A, Pleasant View, TN 37146). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
