He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin O'Brien and Ethel O'Brien; his daughter Tammy O'Brien; and his siblings, George O'Brien, Bennie O'Brien, Tony O'Brien, Jeannie Brooks, Carolyn Reese and Katrina Mencer.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia O'Brien; his daughters, Amanda Wheelis (Larry), Regina Hoover (Andrew) and Shelley Black (Bryan); his grandchildren, Daniel Brown (Shelby), Derek Henson, Sarah Brown, Amy Brown, Payton Black and Mason Hoover; and his great grandchildren, Lennox Hudson, Aubree Brown and Huxley Henson.
