We announce the death of Joyce Inez Jones Leath of Portland, Tennessee, who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Jones and Myrtle Heady Jones; her husband Donnell Leath; and her brother James Henry Jones. She is survived by: her sons, David Leath (Betty) of Springfield, TN, Jeff Leath of Hendersonville, TN and Dwight Leath (Carol) of Clarksville, TN; her grandchildren, Jonathan Leath (Jennifer) of Lebanon, TN and Jennifer Schock of Hendersonville, TN; her stepgrandchildren, Stacey Postell of Epsworth, GA, Michael Kendall of Springfield, TN and Johanna Albrecht of Lebanon, TN; and her brother Ward Jones (Joyce) of Russellville, KY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home (715 S Broadway, Portland, TN 37148). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
