It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie James Eidson of Portland, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 9, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Eidson and Margaret Eidson; his son Daryl Eidson; his son-in-law Scott Berry; and his siblings, Eddie Eidson and Vivian Hatcher.

He is survived by : his wife Etta Eidson; his children, Dwight Eidson (Eve) and DaRhonda Eidson Berry; his daughter-in-law Sharon Eidson; his grandchildren, Taylor Brightup (Rob), Haley Stradtner (Desmond), Mikayla Brooks (Ben), Anthony Eidson and Amber Richardson (Larry); and his siblings, David Eidson (Judy) and Wanda Seger (Terry). He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
