He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Virginia and Lola Mae Key; and his siblings, Shirley Shumake, Barbara Key, Margaret Dorris, George Key, Howard Key, Roger Key, Tommy Key, Lila Mae Key, Sue Gardner, Frankie Key and Nancy Dorris.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Whittemore; his children, Timothy Likens, Michelle Moefaauo (Sila), Michael Key (Rhonda), Dustin Key, Lila Earl (James) and Crystal Dillehay (Chris); and his siblings, Billy Key (Tammy) and Janie Williams (Rick).
