He is survived by: his children, William "Butch" Simpson (Bonita), Jerry Simpson (Dorcas) and Rhondia Lemmons; and his brothers, Gary Lemmons Sr. and Paul Thomas Walker (Lisa). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Portland (610 N Broadway, Portland, TN 37148). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
