She was predeceased by : her parents, John Hale and Jewel Pitt Hale; her husband Harold Young; and her sisters, Linda Ladd and Janice Billings.
She is survived by : her children, John R. Carroll and Teresa G. Wallace; and her sister Diane Rodgers. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
