He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jane Walter; his children, Karen Walter Monroe, Dan Walter of Portland and Crystal Walter of Portland; his grandchildren, Wyatt Walter, Peri Monroe and Addison Monroe; his brother Jim Walter (Ruby) of Portland; and his cousins, Freddy Walter, Mike Walter, Susan Walter and Vickie Walter.
