He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Davis and Ella Davis; and his siblings, Wendell Davis and Evelyn Heatherly. He is survived by: his wife Faye Davis; his daughters, Denise Thompson (Ricky) and Donna Davis; his granddaughter Sabrina Chamberlain (Nathan); his great grandchild Kyla Chamberlain; his sister-in-law Gayle Fife; and his nephews, Lee Wright (Alina), Doug and Jimmy Heatherly.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sharon Baptist Church Continuing the Legacy Campaign.
