She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Sharpe and Pauline Sharpe; and her nieces and nephews, Terry Douglas and Christopher Whaley. She is survived by: her daughter Scotti Lane (Jimmy); her sisters, Barbara Tassey and Christine Milligan; her nephews, Ron and Andy Milligan; and her close friend Linda Coyne.

In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made, in Carolyn's honor, to the Humane Society-Tennessee Valley.
