As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dale Roberts may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his stepfather Marion Smith. He is survived by: his wife Judy Herrell of Claxton; his mother Patricia McDonald Smith; his sisters, Mary McBryar (Milo) and Yvonne Carmean (David); his close friends, John and Barbara Porterfield; his daughter Jody Ritchie; and his granddaughter Alyssa Ritchie. He is also survived by 4 nephews; 1 niece.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to the American Kidney Fund or the American Diabetes Association.
