He is survived by: his sons, Chris and David Jr.; the mother of his children Gail Bishop; his caregiver Sharon Coonrod; Betty Lee, Evelyn Lingerfelt of Fayetteville, GA, Jean Faison of Jonesboro, GA, Helen Wynegar (Lawrence) of Powell, TN and Gary Latham (Kelly) of Temple, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other special friends.
