He is survived by: his parents, Brandon and Brittany; his sisters, London and Gracelyn; his great-grandparents, Roger, Joyce Helm, Darrell, Clara Smith and Linda Hopkins; his grandparents, Brian, Holly Donoghue, Craig and Jane Smith; his aunts and uncles, Cole (Yolanda Smith), Cade Smith, Tyler (Jaimee Donoghue), Collin (Haley Donoghue), Shane (Emylee Smith) and Mackenzie (Eric Box); and his cousins, Kiki, Rey, Courtney, Easton, Cane, Alaina, McKenna, Gehrig, Savannah and Tunafish.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in Gunner's name to research high risk brain tumors like Gunner's.
