We are sad to announce that, on October 15, 2025, at the age of 74, Janet Gail Parton of Powell, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Janet's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Janet has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. "JC" Parton and Rosemary D. Parton. She is survived by: her son Keith Bird (Chelsea) of Powell, TN; and her grandchildren, Audrey Bird and Emmalyn Bird.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Young-Williams Animal Shelter in Knoxville, TN.
