It is with sadness that the passing of Jerry Lynn Vaughn (Powell, Tennessee) is shared. Jerry, born on June 18, 1944 in Heiskell, Tennessee, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Vaughn and Eula Vaughn; his wife Brenda Vaughn; and his siblings, Linda Barnett and Jimmy Vaughn.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Vaughn, Karen Cooter, Lisa Vaughn, Jerry Vaughn, Jr., Charissa Vaughn, Del Disney and John Porter; his siblings, Barbara Webb, Ed Webb and Betty Anderson; his grandchildren, Samantha Gass, Morgan Cooter, Jerry Vaughn, III, Jalynn Vaughn, Jessica Snow and Allie Farrell; and his great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Andre.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 160 Edgemoor Rd, Powell, TN 37849. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Red Cross in Jerry's memory.
