She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Harvey and Zelma Ruth Metcalf Harvey; her former husband Tom Kagley; her son Rusty Kagley; her sister Brenda Haun; and her grandson Tyler Humphrey.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Mertens; her daughter Melissa Gibson; her grandchildren, Devin, Cory, Lorin and Amber; her great grandchildren, Selena, Gabriel, Easton, Denver, Remianne, Waylon, Wyatt and Nirvana; and her brother Randy Harvey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Chapel (2000 Powell Drive 37849). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens (711 Easter Ridge Rd, Lenoir City, TN 37772).
