It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Whitney Lynn Hammond of Powell, Tennessee, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Patsy Hammond; his grandparents, Carolyn, Clifford Overton, Drew and Betty Hammond; and his uncle James Overton.

He is survived by: his wife Melissa Hammond; his children, Cole Hammond and Presley Hammond; his father William Hammond; his brother James "Jimbo" Hammond (Sherry); his aunts, Erin Humphrey (Danny) and Kay Weaver (Jim); his uncle Patrick Hammond; and his mother-in-law Cathy Wilson. He is also survived by numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews and so many friends.
