He is survived by: his wife Alice Ann Rush of Powells Crossroads, Tennessee; his children, Rebecca Jane Nichols (Steve) of Portage, Mary Susan Meade (Larry) of Powells Crossroads, John Franklin Rush (Ruth) of Cosby and Jessica Ann Holland (Brett) of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Daniel Nichols, Cynthia Vest (Nichols), David Meade, Sarah Leach (Meade), Michelle Tipton (Meade), Dylan Meade, Ethan Rush, Abigail Rush, Bethelle Rush, Mattie Rush, Courtney Holland, Chloe Holland, Clayton Holland, Caylie Holland, Katie Schuyler, Megan Schuyler and Jarod Schuyler; Lynn Charles Schuyler (Jenny) of Ponca City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
