She was predeceased by: her husband First Lt; her parents, Floyd Hughes and Julia Hughes; and her siblings, Caroll Hughes and Majorie Dunnavant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Andersen, Julia Whitson (Carl) and Rebecca Stokes; her brother Alvin Hughes; her sister-in-law Nell Evans Logan; her grandchildren, Rena Salancy (Michael) and Levi Whitson; and her great grandchildren, Lucy Whitson, Andersen Salancy and Maximilian Salancy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Pulaski, Giles County Public Library or The Kedron Cemetery Fund.
