She was predeceased by: her husband First Lt; her parents, Floyd Hughes and Julia Hughes; and her siblings, Caroll Hughes and Majorie Dunnavant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Andersen, Julia Whitson (Carl) and Rebecca Stokes; her brother Alvin Hughes; her sister-in-law Nell Evans Logan; her grandchildren, Rena Salancy (Michael) and Levi Whitson; and her great grandchildren, Lucy Whitson, Andersen Salancy and Maximilian Salancy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (200 W Jefferson St, Pulaski, TN 38478). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Pulaski, Giles County Public Library or The Kedron Cemetery Fund.
