He was predeceased by: his parents, Buddy Collins and Jerre Collins. He is survived by: his wife Regina Collins of Pulaski; his daughter Dedi Kersey (Brian) of Pulaski; his siblings, Danny Collins (Beverly) of Pulaski and Cathy Collins of Pulaski; his grandson Derek Kersey; and his brother-in-law Roger Bledsoe. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Carr and Erwin Funeral Home (1228 E College St, Pulaski, TN 38478). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family request that. Memorial Contributions be made to the Giles County Humane Society or to Giles County Fire and Rescue.
