He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Janes of Pulaski; his children, Dennis Janes (Allsia) of Pulaski, Phil Bassham (Charlotte) of Lawrenceburg, Karen Higgins (Roger) of Pulaski and Lorrie Russell; and his siblings, Dan Janes (Jill) of Pulaski, John Elmer Janes of Florida, Billy Janes of Florida, Lorena Whiddon (Charlie) of Florida, Thelma Bassett (Mike) of Pulaski, Truly Seili of Florida, Freda Buchanan (Mark) of Florida and Bette Oramas (Alex) of Florida. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
