He is survived by: his wife Linda Bailey Sumners; his children, Marsha McComiskey (Mike), Jason Sumners (Sherry) and Leigh Ann Villanueva; his grandchildren, Kate McComiskey, Hannah Trahin (John), Bailey Clark (Bobby), Isaac Sumners (Ella), Ethan Sumners (Macey) and Zoe Villanueva; his great grandchild Jace Clark; his nephews, Zach and Brewer Bailey; his siblings, Ann Adair (Bud) of Lewisburg, Arlene Hawthorne of Slidell, LA and Gary Sumners; and his stepgrandchildren, Olivia Randolph, Amber Stack and Garret Clark.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home (1228 E College St, Pulaski, TN 38478). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Edgar's memory to the Bodenham Community Club.
