He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Banks and Bertha Carpenter Banks; his wife Lois Banks; and his brothers, Thomas Banks and Randall Banks.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Banks of Pulaski, Tennessee.; his sons, Jeremy Banks of South Branch, Michigan. and Gary Lane Banks of Pulaski, Tennessee.; his siblings, Joe Glen, Betty Malone (James) of Goodspring, Tennessee. and Jerry "Sparky" Banks of Elkton, Tennessee.; and his stepdaughter Tabitha Bassham (Ricky) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory (1910 Elkton Pike, Pulaski, TN 38478). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (500 Ballentine St, Pulaski, TN 38478).
The family suggests memorial donations be made in Gary's name to the charity of your choice.
