He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Arthur and Jennie Wood Wasson; his siblings, Jimmy Wasson, Harold Wasson, Charles Wasson, Freda Wasson, Mary Ray and Dorothy Thompson; his son-in-law Mike Young; and his grandson Dustin Sumners.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Wasson of Pulaski, TN; his children, Cindy Young of Pulaski, TN, Teresa Hopkins of Pulaski, TN, Sharon Wallace (Tonnice) of Lester, AL and Dwayne Wasson of Atlanta, GA; and his sisters, Mabel Teague and Hazel Drake. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory (1910 Elkton Pike, Pulaski, TN 38478). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory (1910 Elkton Pike, Pulaski, TN 38478).
