He is survived by: his children, David Paul VanEst (Thersea) of Lawrenceburg, Joe VanEst, Jr. (Patricia) of Florida, LaShawn Smith (James) of Pulaski and Candace Simmons (Patrick) of Pulaski; his sister Lori VanEst of California; and his pets, Pepper and Dunn. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
