He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Chatman and Mary Potts Chatman; his wife Louise Chatman; and his siblings, Runt, Monk, Bud Chatman, Sue Berry and Ruby Davidson.
He is survived by: his sons, Leonard "Peppy" Chatman (Candy) of Prospect and Melvin Chatman of Pulaski; his siblings, Henry Chatman of Culleoka, Joe Chatman of Pulaski, James Chatman of Columbia and Nancy Foster (Clyde) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Mary, Holly, Brianna and Harley; and his great grandchildren, Lorelai, Morrow of David, Jacoby, Presley, Copper and Ruby. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carr and Erwin Funeral Home (1228 E College St, Pulaski, TN 38478). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at the Friendship Cemetery.
