She was predeceased by : her husband James Young; her son Charles Young; and her sister Alice.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory (1910 Elkton Pike, Pulaski, TN 38478).
