Violet Faye West Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Violet Faye West (Pulaski, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Violet may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Violet touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Isom Wade West; her parents, James Lawson and Elizabeth Moore Newman; her siblings, Thomas Newman and Betty Ann Bates; and her son-in-law Dale Hanks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Hanks, Sherry West (Jerry Nicholson) and Kelley Pardon (Edward). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren, along with many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lifepoint Pentecostal Church Building Fund or to Lifepoint Ladies Ministries.
