As we bid Ameldia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ameldia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Howard and Mary Louise Gibson Jones; and her brother R. H. Ballard. She is survived by: her sister Lois Smith (Bob) of Puryear, TN. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McEvoy Funeral Home (507 W Washington St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials for Ms. Jones may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
