John Luther Zorn Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Luther Zorn of Puryear, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2025 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Luther Zorn to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his parents, Robert Zorn and Hattie Bishop Zorn; his spouse Beverly Brandt Zorn; his children, Bryan Zorn (Sara) of Piper City, IL and Megan Buckman (Josh) of Columbus Junction, Iowa; his brother Ron Zorn of Louisville, KY; his siblings-in-law, Donna Sriver (Mike) of Chatsworth, IL, Gary Brandt (Joy) of Magnolia, DE and Jim Brandt (Sue) of Kankakee, IL; and his grandchildren, Kennedy Buckman, Paisley Buckman and Boston Buckman.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Puryear Baptist Church (10060 US-641, Puryear, TN 38251). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Piper City Community Center (64 W Peoria St, Piper City, IL 60959).
Memorials may be made to Sons of the American Legion or Puryear Baptist Church.
