She was predeceased by: her parents, James Porter and Maude McCall Taylor; her husband Joe Pat Elkins; her daughters, Leslie Kane Elkins and Zana Elkins Renfro; her siblings, Pauline Taylor Ligon, Garnez Taylor McMasters Hopkins, Rebecca Taylor Johnson and Wayne Taylor; and her niece Paula Ligon Reading.
She is survived by: her daughter Kim Smith of Nashville; her grandchildren, Leigh Ann Renfro Ballegeer (Paul) of Paducah, KY, Evan Smith of Charleston, SC, Jonathan Renfro and Leslie Smith (Cory Givens) of Columbia, TN; her great grandchildren, Luke Taylor Ballegeer and Kate Ann Ballegeer; her son-in-law Brad Renfro of Paducah, KY; and her sibling's children, Althea Taylor, Nancy Taylor, Regina Johnson and Thane Johnson. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
