He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Slatten and Nannie Belle Mason Slatten. He is survived by: his son Mike Slatten (Melissa) of Rockvale, TN; his granddaughters, Haley Martin (Henry) and Morgan Slatten; his brothers, Wayne Slatten (Faye) and Reed Slatten; and his nieces, Kim Savage (Alex), Wendy Quick (Dillard) and Debbie Slatten (family: Rick Dildine, Ben Dildine, Erick Dildine, Staci Thomas, Danielle Dildine).
