He was predeceased by : his parents, Luke Knox and Alberta Lassiter Knox; his wife Faye Alexander Knox; his grandson Lincoln Knox Gannon; and his siblings, Wayne Knox, Faye Knox Maxwell and Betty Knox.

He is survived by : his children, Kim Knox Gannon (Terry) of Woodbury and Joe Knox of Readyville; his grandsons, Todd Gannon (Tiffany), Luke Knox (Christy) and Alex Markum (Seth); and his great grandchild Lucy Knox.
