He is survived by: his son Brian Long (Kim); his grandsons, Chase Long (Kameron) and Zachary Long (Brenda); his stepchildren, Debbie Starner (Kevin) of Red Boiling Springs, Tracy Dozier (Jonathan Frye) of Lafayette, Danny Dozier (Tammie) of Red Boiling Springs and Jackie Dozier of Red Boiling Springs; his sisters, Rita Ford (Jerry) of Gamaliel, Shelia Davis of Lafayette, Darla Morey (Victor) of Gallatin and Cindy Pruitt (James) of Gainesboro; and his close friend Ruth Copass. He is also survived by 16 step-grandchildren & 26 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home - Red Boiling (544 Lafayette Rd, Red Boiling Springs, TN 37150). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at the Anderson & Son Memorial Park (997 TN-52 Scenic, Lafayette, TN 37083).
